Francis Ford Coppola changed how he understood directing and writing, and how much a single work can make a person feel. It reset his sense of the emotional force a story can carry, and how far a creator should be willing to go to reach it.
Percy Miller was his earliest sense of how far one creator could take a body of work beyond a single medium, and of what it means to own the whole of it. That was his first real model for building across formats, and it sits underneath how VESSELBORN is made.
VESSELBORN
A science fantasy universe set on Geba, a brown dwarf planet in a trinary star system. It covers roughly six thousand years of fictional history, with its civilizations, wars, belief systems, and technologies built to stay internally consistent.
The stories center on limitation and what it takes to move past it. Characters build their abilities through discipline and effort, so strength is earned rather than inherited.
