Hybrid Engineered are offspring of two Engineered classes or an Engineered and a natural-born human. Recognized as a distinct category within the Geban Empire, they emerged during the later Era of Absolute Expansion (~2,000–1,500 years before modern Geba) under designs attributed to Prince Varethis’Daer Venar. Biologically viable, Hybrids express traits from one or both parents. True dual-expressing cases are rare and often unstable in cognition, form, or hormonal regulation. Some hide their heritage to avoid scrutiny. Hybrids outside state custody are exempt from the 8-Year Rule.

Lifespan

Typical Hybrid lifespan is 120–180 years. Maturity at 15–20 years. Destroyer Hybrids may approach ~400 years due to enhanced physiology. Reproduction follows maturity.

Uses

• Versatile Roles: Deployed according to dominant traits—Scouts for surveillance, Tacticians for command, Assault/Destroyers for combat and heavy tasks.
