Origin: Saethera (warmlight forests, canopy zones)
The Palmstrider is a graceful, arboreal omnivore native to Saethera’s warmlight forests and canopy zones. Its elongated limbs and prehensile tail enable agile navigation through dense canopies, while its mottled, leaf-like skin provides seamless camouflage among foliage. Feeding on epiphytes and small fauna, it is a key component of Saethera’s humid ecosystems. Its presence indicates stable, biodiverse forest environments.
Palmstriders live 12–18 years, reaching maturity at 2–4 years and reproducing during warm, humid seasons.
Documented during the Era of Absolute Expansion (~3,000 years before modern Geba), Palmstriders were recorded in the Comprehensive Field Codex for their essential role in Saethera’s canopy ecosystems. Their stealth and leaf-like camouflage make them elusive yet vital for ecological stability. Extant and thriving, they remain integral to Saethera’s warmlight forests.
