The Saltstem is a small, resilient succulent native to the harsh brine zones of Inland Thazvaar. Characterized by its thick, salt-encrusted bark and internal water storage, it plays a vital role in arid ecosystem stability and serves as a critical survival resource for Thazvaari nomads during lean seasons.
Lives 20–30 years. Matures at 4–6 years. Produces seeds post-storm.
Documented in the Era of Absolute Expansion (~3,000 years before modern Geba), Saltstems support Thazvaar’s brine ecosystems. Extant and valued.
