The Screecushion is a low, spongy plant native to the harsh deserts of Inland Thazvaar. When disturbed by movement or pressure, it emits a shrill, screech-like sound, effectively deterring herbivores and intruders. Its unique properties have been adopted by Thazvaari nomads as natural alarm systems and warning markers.

Lifespan

Lives 10–15 years. Matures at 2–3 years. Produces seeds post-storm.
