Alias: None
Origin: Geba (planet-wide, various biomes)
The Destroyer-Class Engineered, designed by Prince Varethis’Daer Venar during the later stages of the Era of Absolute Expansion (~2,000–1,500 years before modern Geba), are a rare and formidable class of Engineered humans built for catastrophic force, breaching hardened targets, and serving as last-phase deterrence. Not bred intentionally but arising from a rare confluence of stacked traits, they are deployed sparingly in small groups of 2–5, operating independently to destroy all opposition and obstacles. Their massive physiology, rooted in Frost Sentinel DNA, ensures unmatched strength across all of Geba’s terrains, including stratospheric peaks up to 60 km with specialized heavy gear like Haavu’s Fortress Vest, designed for airships and platforms. Unlike the impulsive Assault-Class, Destroyer-Class seek peace and isolation in remote regions after combat duties, retreating to live solitary lives.
Destroyer-Class Engineered operate across Geba’s diverse biomes, from equatorial jungles and Thazvaar’s deserts to Ngorrhal’s cliffs and Kela’s polar shelves, thriving in any environment, including extreme zones like stratospheric peaks or subsurface corridors when equipped with heavy, platform-grade gear. Post-combat, they retreat to remote, uninhabited regions like isolated caverns or high-altitude plateaus.
Built to survive without limits, Destroyer-Class Engineered endure all elevations (sea level to 60 km with gear), climates (from equatorial heat to polar cold), and weather conditions (rains, dust storms, snowstorms, stellar disruptions), leveraging their robust physiology and heavy equipment like Sentinel Division’s Frost Armor to conquer any challenge.
Destroyer-Class Engineered can live close to 400 years, far exceeding natural-born humans (120–150 years) and other Engineered classes (160–250 years). Unlike Assault-Class, their non-impulsive nature allows many to approach their full lifespan, retreating to isolation after service. Maturity is reached at 15–20 years, with reproduction possible thereafter.
Destroyer-Class Engineered measure above 8 feet, with some approaching or exceeding 9 feet, their mass excessive and visibly Engineered. Their build—posture, limb thickness, and stride—is designed for devastating force, optimized for slow, deliberate movements suited to heavy gear.
Males typically weigh 300–350 kg, and females weigh 250–300 kg without gear, reflecting their massive, dense musculature and reinforced cellular architecture optimized for overwhelming force, significantly heavier than Assault-Class.
Destroyer-Class Engineered emerged as a rare outcome of Prince Daer’s bioengineering, becoming prominent post-Auren’s assassination (~2,000 years before modern Geba). Their Frost Sentinel-derived physiology ensures unparalleled strength, and their retreat to remote regions after combat reflects a deliberate choice for peace, contrasting with the Assault-Class’s impulsivity. The Empire’s 8-Year Rule mandates service for state-born individuals, but their rarity limits deployment to small, high-impact units. Expedition teams should leverage their destructive power during operations but avoid disturbing their isolated retreats, as their desire for solitude is resolute. Their limitless adaptability fulfills their purpose to dominate any Geban environment.
