Origin: Geba (central plains, urban centers)
The Imperial Striking Wasp is a small insect native to the central plains and urban centers of Geba, characterized by its six large, powerful wings and a stinger the length of its body. Its sting delivers intense pain and temporary paralysis, making it a species to avoid. Attracted to sweet smells and bright colors, it remains passive unless provoked by these stimuli. Contrary to common belief, their stings contain no toxins, with paralysis resulting from nerve disruption. Its presence is common in Geban agricultural and urban zones.
Imperial Striking Wasps inhabit Geba’s central plains and urban centers, favoring fertile fields and urban gardens where sweet-smelling plants and bright colors are abundant. They are absent in arid deserts or dense forests.
Imperial Striking Wasps live 2–3 months, reaching maturity within days and reproducing rapidly in warm seasons.
Mature wasps measure 1–2 cm in length, with a wingspan of 3–4 cm across their six wings. Their stinger matches their body length, approximately 1–2 cm.
The Imperial Striking Wasp’s painful, non-toxic sting and attraction to sweet smells made it a nuisance during the Era of Absolute Expansion (~3,000 years before modern Geba), particularly in urban Geban markets. Its pollination role supports agriculture, but its paralytic sting requires caution. Their range is limited to Geba’s central plains and urban centers.
