Origin: Inland Thazvaar (deserts)
The Thazvaar Dustblade is a sharp-leaved shrub native to Inland Thazvaar’s dunes. Its blade-like foliage traps airborne dust, blending seamlessly into desert terrain. This adaptive camouflage allows it to persist in unstable environments while reinforcing dune stability.
Deserts, rooted in sandy soils. Absent in humid or forested biomes.
Lives 15–25 years. Matures at 3–5 years. Produces seeds post-storm.
Reaches 0.5–1 meter in height, with a spread of 0.8–1.5 meters. Juveniles range from 0.2–0.4 meters.
Documented in the Era of Absolute Expansion (~3,000 years before modern Geba), Dustblades are essential to Thazvaar’s desert ecosystems. Extant and adaptive.
